Uses: Honeynut squash is best when roasted, like many other winter squashes. Halve the squash, scoop out the seed, add either oil and seasoning or butter and brown sugar, and roast away. If you’re looking for a recipe, honeynut squash is a good substitute for butternut squash in many recipes.
